Spirit of Holidays – Over 16 volunteers from IUSD youth committee participated in this community service, helped serving lunch, taking care of little children. IUSD also provided wrapped gifted to the kids of all ages.

On behalf of the homeless populations living in the City of Dover and the feeder communities of the Caesar Rodney and Capital School Districts, Dover’s Caring Community Coalition would like to thank you for your support of the Winter Harvest on Saturday, December 20, 2008.  Words cannot adequately communicate our appreciation of your kindness and generosity for this event.  

We had an excellent turnout.  From all indications, our service population truly enjoyed themselves.  The location, food, workshop, books, tooth brushes, nursing items, beverages, activities, music, gifts, donations, volunteer service, EVERYTHING was wonderful.  I am so proud of us, as a community.  This truly was a momentous event.

We send our blessings and hopes to you for a happy and prosperous new year!
